Tata, Dimension Data to Support Cisco Telepresence

India-based Tata Communications is teaming up with U.K.-based Dimension Data to Cisco Systems’ Telepresence suite around the globe.

Dimension Data says it has the skills to sell, design, install, and support Cisco Telepresence in 47 countries. The company will use the Tata Communications global WAN to connect its own internal TelePresence endpoints. Together, the two companies will provide the entire suite of services, including bandwidth, Telepresence hardware, support, maintenance and a fully managed service.

“One significant benefit is that clients will be able to procure the hardware on either a capex or opex model, explained Dimension Data group executive Steve Joubert.
