AT&T Says Sorry, Reverses Stand on Usage Changes

AT&T has apologized for a couple of changes it made to its wireless terms and conditions issued last week. The phone giant says it will retract the changes, which it says were made in error.

The alterations to the terms of use could have banned popular applications like Skype on the iPhone. The new provisions called for a ban on video streaming and peer-to-peer activity. AT&T told Engadget that it’s trying to manage network capacity, but said the wording in last week’s release was wrong.
