Aastra has announced a new bundle aimed at small businesses interested in using SIP Trunking along with the AastraLink RP (Response Point).
The AastraLink RP SIP Trunking Bundle, available in the U.S. only, is priced at $1,799.99, and includes the Aastra designed Base Unit containing the Microsoft Response Point software, and three Aastra Response Point 6753i RP phones. The Microsoft Response Point software provides users with a voice-enabled user interface, advanced call routing, built-in voice mail, Automated Receptionist and contact integration with Microsoft Office Outlook.
Aastra’s 6753i RP IP phone includes a three-line LCD display, six programmable keys, the Response Point button to access the voice-automated features, and Response Point Auto-Discovery and Auto-Configuration integration.
The AastraLink RP SIP Trunking Bundle is targeted at end users and resellers interested in using SIP trunking offered by their service provider. The AastraLink RP system is compatible with all of the VoIP phone service providers approved in the Response Point community, including the 8×8 SIP Trunking service.
In related news, Aastra announced that Covad Communications has tested and certified the AastraLink Pro 160 IP PBX compatible with Covad Integrated Access service.
