Wholesale digital voice services provider SinglePipe Communications has snagged $5.1 million in new equity funding.
Chyrsalis Ventures and Meritus Ventures provided the new money, which SinglePipe will use to expand its VoIP networks and market to potential cable and other broadband operators. SinglePipe services are designed for SMBs and residential users.
“We are pleased with SinglePipe’s continued and consistent growth from both its current customer base and news sales opportunities,” Wright Steenrod, principal of Chrysalis Ventures, said in a prepared statement. “We believe the company’s ability to provide managed turnkey solutions for different components of cable operators’ voice services will continue to be a strong point of differentiation and sales growth.”
SinglePipe made its announcement at this week’s NCTA show.
