IBM Renews Vows to Partners

IBM (IBM) is hoping to reaffirm its commitment to the channel through a revision of its IBM Business Partner Charter, the first major overhaul of the document in 15 years.

The company strives to impart its renewed focus on utilizing the channel to reach the midmarket. One significant change to the charter is in regard to the cloud computing revolution and how IBM could be best positioned in that market. Approximately 100,000 partners will receive the updated charter today along with a letter from CEO Sam Palmisano.
