Microsoft Hones Dynamics Partnership Criteria

Joining the many vendors that are tightening rules and stipulations on partners, Microsoft (MSFT) announced it will dedicate more resources to Dynamics VARs that generate new business or sell vertical-specific apps as add-ons to the Dynamics software.

Microsoft intends to be more selective in the partners it engages by shifting its focus toward those that provide more implementation services.

Microsoft anticipates releasing more details about these developments at its worldwide partner conference in July.
