ADTRAN Taps Bolton for Global Marketing Post

ADTRAN Inc. announced Monday that Gary Bolton has been tapped as its vice president of global marketing responsible for development and implementation of all marketing initiatives across the company.

Bolton brings more than 20 years experience in telecom, joining ADTRAN from Hatteras Networks where he served as vice president of marketing and product line management.

Prior to Hatteras, Bolton served as vice president of broadband access marketing for Ciena Corp. and vice president of product marketing and product management for Catena Networks, which was acquired by Ciena in May 2004.

Bolton’s career also includes 15 years of service with Nortel Networks in various management roles including marketing, product line management and engineering. He has a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University and a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University.

ADTRAN’s portfolio includes more than 1,700 solutions for use in last-mile telecom networks.
