Avaya has debuted the Avaya Services Delivery Specialization (SDS) program which will enable Avaya BusinessPartners and AlliancePartners to provide services in conjunction with Avaya and demonstrate their capabilities in implementation, maintenance support and application integration. Through SDS, customers can identify those channel partners that have the appropriate skills and qualifications for the level of service delivery required.
The Services Delivery Specialization program has four areas of designation:
“The Avaya SDS program is good for our BusinessPartners and good for customers,” said Carol Giles Neslund, vice president, North America Channel Sales, Avaya. “SDS enables our channel partners to expand their portfolio of services with streamlined access to a broad range of Avaya tools, systems and people. Customers can quickly identify the channel partners that are the best fit for their project and be assured of their services expertise.”
Participating channel partners have access to financial, sales, marketing and support benefits, and are awarded the appropriate SDS designation logo to help customers identify their differentiated service capabilities.
A number of Avaya BusinessPartners have already been designated SDS channel partners, including Carousel Industries, Cross Telecom, NACR and SPS. All of these Platinum-certified Avaya BusinessPartners have received both the SDS Implementation Specialist and the SDS Support Specialist designations. Several other Avaya channel partners are in the process.
