IBM Corp. plans to involve its channel in its Lotus Live software-as-a-service bid announced Monday.
Big Blue said eventually it would allow solutions providers to build apps and services around LotusLive. And, a multitiered admin capability from a recent acquisition could enable private labeling of the on-demand software suite. No timeline for channel rollout was provided.
LotusLive Engage, the first group of LotusLive services, includes Lotus’ Web conferencing software and LotusLive Notes. IBM will add additional applications by the end of first quarter.
Channel partners should be ready to capitalize on Chromebooks’ move into the enterprise market. dlvr.it/RL9T3L
