Fujitsu Computer Systems Corp. has expanded its distribution arrangement with Synnex Corp. (SNX) to include both storage and mobile products. Synnex now will offer Fujitsu’s Eternus 4000 and Eternus 8000 storage solutions to medium enterprise VARs.
Since businesses will continue to create data that need to be stored, this somewhat “recession-proof” angle might help Fujitsu’s channel program get a leg up. The program offers education, dedicated support and co-op dollars, and even joint sales calls, to help partners close deals.
