Channel executives, for the most part, seem to be very optimistic that they are operating in a somewhat recession-proof business. However, pundits continue to encourage channel partners to shift their focus to areas such as vertical markets, managed services and green IT; but it seems most agree these little shifts in plan of attack should keep the channel successful until the economy turns around.
