Cisco to Settle With VAR

Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) has agreed to pay one of its VARs $5.45 million to settle a dispute. Once consummated, both sides will file for a dismissal of the lawsuit.

In October, the VAR, Infra-Comm, was awarded $6.4 million in damages stemming from its January 2007 lawsuit claiming Cisco stole its registered customer, which it gave to AT&T, and then canceled the VAR’s contract when it sued for breach of contract.
