Digium Inc., makers of the open-source Asterisk telephony software, and VAR/telephony agent Intelesys Inc. Monday announced a partnership wherein Intelesys will offer sales and integration of Asterisk-based phone solutions.
Digium provides the Switchvox family of turnkey IP PBXs, based on Asterisk, for small and medium enterprises. In addition, for custom implementations, Digium offers both commercially licensed and open-source versions of Asterisk as premier development frameworks.
Intelesys has more than 24 years in the telephone, computer and networking industries, and has been implementing VoIP phone systems and converged networks since 1997.
Intelesys supports the 3Com NBX 100, Superstack V3000 and V5000 switches, Avaya’s IP Office, Panasonic KX-TDA and KX-TDE Series, Altigen’s Altiserv, Nortel Phone Systems, Vodavi’s Triad, XTS, XTSC and STS phone systems as well as other products from Cisco, NEC, Proxim, Polycom and more. Intelesys also provides high-speed Internet and voice lines, including ISDN Prime, T1, ADSL, SDSL and Custom Integrated Solutions. Intelesys is an Authorized AT&T Solution Provider and provides circuits from XO Communications and McLeod USA (now PAETEC).
Intelesys works with a range of clients, from small business to enterprise, and presently maintains more than 3,000 telephone systems.
