Service provider MASERGY has unveiled a new channel partner sales program offering a higher compensation plan that provides upfront payments and residual commissions to its channel partners. The enhanced channel partner program is available to all channel partners, including master agent channel partners and referral channel partners, but emphasizes collaboration and benefits for systems integrators and VARs, said the company.
MASERGY’s new compensation structure offers “substantial” up-front compensation and strong monthly residual payments for channel partners, along with pre- and post-sales support, reducing the overall cost of sales for channel partners. The channel partner program does not require any commitment to achieve monthly, quarterly or annual revenue targets. Instead, channel partners earn higher payouts based on overall level of sales achieved.
“VARs [and channel partners] like having both the up-front compensation as well as the monthly cash-flow from residuals,” said Todd Bahner, MASERGY’s director of global channel partner programs, explaining that existing channel partners can choose to remain under their existing contracts or move to the new channel partner program.
