The XML-based program shows Telarus agents the pricing and commission on most AireSpring products, including data T1, data DS3, local and long-distance T1 and PRI, and SIP voice service.
AireSpring and Telarus installed the system a few months ago, but the companies are publicizing the availability now because they said the value has been proven.
Andrew Morgan, Telarus’ vice president of Web development, said the program displays product rates and agents’ commission percentages, a feature that has come in handy.
“This has allowed our agents to shorten the sales cycle from a few days to a few minutes – greatly reducing the workload on our sales support staff,” said Morgan.
AireSpring COO Daniel Lonstein said that although AireSpring has its own Web quoting tool, it knew some master agents wanted to roll quotes into their own applications. Telarus is the first master agent to fully implement the AireSpring tool.
