Whaleback Systems has upgraded its CrystalBlue Voice Service to spurn VoIP security threats such as Internet telephony spam and DoS attacks.
Existing users will automatically be upgraded for free.
Whaleback added a dedicated, voice-only proxy firewall named OrcaSentry to the CrystalBlue IP PBX. OrcaSentry’s actions include preventing packet forwarding and public SIP call addressing. Functions include cold standby.
OrcaSentry works with Whaleback’s OrcaVision voice quality management system.
