TalkSwitch has announced general availability of configuration software 6.0, a newly designed and engineered platform that makes installation of TalkSwitch systems more efficient, while providing customers and resellers with a host of new configuration opportunities.
Most significantly, users in the French and Spanish-speaking markets get a phone system that is fully operational in the language of their choice. All system configuration fields, documentation and help files, as well as automated attendant and individual extension prompts can be set in English, Spanish or French. And companies that operate in more than one language can use multiple languages on the same system.
Users also will notice a new Java-based graphical user interface, said the company.
The new software enables business owners to use up to four different service providers. The software also increases the number of Call Bridge accounts that can be set on the system from four to eight. Users also can schedule the system to e-mail call detail logs at a set interval, providing easier oversight and accounting of all calling activity, said the company.
Existing TalkSwitch customers can upgrade to software 6.0 for free.
