Ingate Systems, which develops firewall technology and products that enable SIP-based live communication for the enterprise while maintaining control and security at the network edge, and Broadvox, a provider of integrated managed VoIP services to SMB, enterprise and carrier customers, have partnered to offer an integrated SIP trunk solution with the Broadvox service.
Simplifying SIP trunk installments, the Ingate-Broadvox solution is a turnkey offering that allows enterprises to connect to the Broadvox SIP trunk quickly and easily, the companies said. With the push of a button on the Ingate product, SIP trunk connections are preconfigured to work with Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking.
The Ingate Firewall and Ingate SIParator products make it possible to connect an IP PBX to the Broadvox service by solving the Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal issues with the SIP protocol while maintaining the security and integrity of the network. Users also can utilize their corporate VoIP, IM and other IP PBX capabilities from any remote location, as long as there is Internet access.
With Ingates technology, Broadvox is able to bring proven, all-in-one NAT traversal and SIP trunking solutions to customers. This translates into faster, simplified deployments, said Andre Temnorod, Broadvox chairman and CEO. Ingate products also offer a high level of security to SIP installations, addressing an important need among our target SMB and enterprise markets.
The solution is available through both Broadvox and Ingate agents and VARs. Agents need not already be established with the companies to come aboard and sell the solution. A company spokesperson said the solution would be a good thing for agents to add to their portfolios because it rounds out a solution for their customers and generates income at the same time. Commissions depend upon volume and length of contract.
