Telarus Adds Covad Fixed Wireless to GeoQuote

Telarus Inc., a telecom master agent and creator of ShopforT1.com, ShopforEthernet.com and VARNetwork.com, announced it has completed the integration of Covad’s commercial wireless broadband product into GeoQuote, Telarus’ patented real-time voice and data search engine. This addition makes it possible for agents of Telarus to discover availability and price of Covad’s new broadband service in just seconds.

“As the top master agent of Covad in 2007, we are very excited to have Covad’s wireless high-speed commercial broadband product included in GeoQuote,” said Adam Edwards, president of Telarus. “Allowing our agents the ability to see if a customer location is within the reach of Covad’s fixed wireless network is critical to our ability to be able to sell this service. In fact, just hours after we introduced Covad’s fixed wireless product into GeoQuote we had our first sale.”

Covad Wireless services offer businesses T1-class wireless broadband that delivers fast, symmetrical downstream and upstream speeds. By delivering Internet access through an industry-leading wireless infrastructure, Covad Wireless services provide businesses a powerful alternative to standard T1 services.

“By delivering Internet access through a wireless infrastructure, Covad Wireless services provide businesses a powerful alternative to standard T1 services” added Lance Akins, VP of Sales for Telarus. “In fact, we have included Covad’s fixed wireless prices on standard T1 quotes so agents can see the price savings they can offer their customers from square one.”

Covad Wireless services are available in the largest metropolitan markets in California, including the San Francisco Bay area, the greater Los Angeles area, and Orange County, as well as Las Vegas and Chicago. As new locations come online, they will be visible to Telarus agents using GeoQuote.
