Emulex Corp., which creates enterprise-class products that connect storage, servers and networks, has announced its new reseller program designed to deliver customized programs to its channel partners.
The new Emulex Reseller Program also enables Emulex to expand its network of server and storage integrators, VARs and channel consultants that recommend and deploy storage area network (SAN) solutions.
“The Emulex Reseller Program is a key component of Emulex’s growth and diversification strategy laid out last year and is aimed at strengthening the company’s core business and driving market share growth,” said Mike Smith, executive vice president of worldwide marketing for the company. “This new program enables Emulex to more closely align the company’s sales and marketing activities with its channel and OEM partners.”
Members of the program may receive exclusive benefits including market development funds, trade-in and demo product, as well as sales incentives all designed to increase Emulex channel partners’ profitability and growth. Resellers also have access to online deal registration application and tracking, which minimizes the time required to complete the sales process. In addition, member resellers have access to a number of powerful sales and training tools.
The Emulex Reseller Program is available to partners in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Key components of the program include an online partner resource center, a reseller program Web-based portal and various program tiers, including Silver, Gold or Platinum.
Emulex has also given its distribution partners, including Avnet, ACAL, Bell Micro EMEA, Distrilogie, FourLeaf, Info X Distribution, Ingram Micro and Tech Data, the opportunity to play a key role in the program.
