Covad Communications Group Inc. has signed a master agent agreement with KeaneTel.
The deal, announced Wednesday at the Fall 2007 Channel Partners Conference & Expo, will expand the availability of Covad broadband services to KeaneTels nationwide partner network of enterprise and SMB telecommunications suppliers. Covads premier master agent program has 10 nationwide partners.
KeaneTel will sell Covads portfolio of business class ADSL, SDSL, T1, bonded T1, security and fixed broadband wireless services.
Covad delivers high-speed Internet access communications. In addition to its standard DSL and T1 products, Covad offers a bonded T1 service with speeds of up to 3mbps, QoS guarantees and ADSL2+, which offers download speeds up to 15mbps. The company also offers fixed broadband wireless at speeds of up to 45mbps.
Covad serves its customers in the program by pairing sales partners with a designated channel manager specialized in joint selling and presales technical support. The Master Agency program is equipped with an Alliance Center partner portal, which offers sales and marketing tools, product and pricing information, online training courses and customer support contacts.
