Intelliverse has let go its vice president of channel sales and at least two members of her staff this week, leaving the status of the companys agent program in limbo.
Stacy Conrad, who headed up the program when it began in January, was dismissed on Wednesday, sources told PHONE+.
Several calls and e-mails to Intelliverse officials were not returned Friday. Conrad declined to comment until Intelliverse makes an official statement.
Sources told PHONE+ the Intelliverse agent staff was released but contracts are safe and partners can still draw commissions off them. Brad Miehl, president and CEO of MicroCorp, confirmed that is what has been communicated to his company, which was Intelliverses first master agent.
Intelliverses channel program was designed for agents to sell its callEverywhere turnkey product. When the program launched, the company said it would rely on indirect reps to sell the VoIP platform, which targets SMBs.
