Intelliverse Adds Brix Applications

Intelliverse has added new converged service assurance solutions from Brix Networks for its hosted VoIP products.

The offering includes active (on-demand) and passive (live) monitoring capabilities, which will help customers diagnose the route of call quality issues for Intelliverses Talking Planet and callEverywhere platforms, the company said. Intelliverse

Active monitoring can be used to simulate a VoIP call and test the quality of experience for latency and jitter. Each call is then given a mean opinion score, which is provided to the end user and loaded automatically into the CRM system. It also can be archived for future record.

Brix verifiers also have been added as a way to passively monitor VoIP traffic at different points in the network, Intelliverse said. The verifiers monitor the speed on the network and report back to a central database allowing Intelliverse to analyze quality-related metrics across the entire network.
