Telarus Inc. has launched MARS, its new private-labeled, back-office software.
MARS, which is an acronym for Master Agent Reporting System, was created in-house to the specifications of agents who are users of the system. It is a Web-based management platform that combines Telarus real-time quoting system, proposal generation system and VAR Network system, the company said.
Telarus said it made the decision to invest in the development of MARS after several carrier partners referred over smaller master agents who did not have the money to purchase, lease or create their own back-office software.
“Without the right Web software, master agents are at a significant disadvantage,” said Adam Edwards, president of Telarus. “Telarus’ mission is to add value to others so that they can grow and become lifelong partners. MARS will play a key role in helping accomplish our mission.”
