Network aggregator Modern Telegraph announced it has signed an agreement with conferencing provider InterCall to build and deploy a customizable online conferencing platform.
The agreement dictates that Modern Telegraph will sell only InterCall conferencing services.
Planned portal options include an individualized pricing engine where customers can define their price requirements. Additional functionality will include foreign currency and international local number support.
“Modern Telegraph’s primary mission is to simplify the telecommunications experience for customers and partners,” said Curtis Jenkins, director of customer support. “This partnership strengthens our service platform and ability to deliver feature-rich, value-based solutions to customers via multiple levels of customization.”
The InterCall conferencing portal will be available to retail customers as well as through Modern Telegraph’s agents. To iron out any implementation wrinkles, the portal will be available through the agent channel prior to the retail launch in August.
Modern Telegraph has been in business since last October and aggregates Global Crossing, Level 3 and Qwest, as well as a few smaller VoIP and specialty service providers. The company has approximately 30 primary agents. Agents receive monthly recurring commissions and typically get a return of 15 percent residual.
