TalkSwitch has launched its Attendant Console, which allows users to monitor and manage calls from their PCs without additional hardware.
The application provides call control, a view of the call queue, and the status of lines and extensions. Users can hold, transfer, park or page at the click of a mouse button.
Caller ID name and number, call duration and status is displayed, as is information about which extensions are in use and which are available. The product allows users to instant-message other employees running the software.
The Attendant Console works with traditional and VoIP lines and extensions.
It is available through authorized TalkSwitch resellers and costs $599.
