Wire One Communications has been selected to serve as a member of the Qwest Communications International Inc. team that was awarded a stake in Networx Universal, the largest communications services contract in the world.
The Networx contracts, worth as much as $48 billion over the next 10 years, will offer voice, data and video services to all U.S. federal agencies. Qwest is among the select companies that the General Services Administration has approved to provide communications services to civilian, defense and intelligence agencies, including 1,800 sub-agencies.
Wire One said it will be providing video conferencing hardware and bridging services for the Qwest offering.
