Third Screen Media said Wednesday that Ampd Mobile Inc. will become the first MADX|Carrier customer to deliver advertising in its video offerings.
Third Screen Media will ad-enable Ampd Mobiles content, including Ampds linear TV services, VoD and WAP offerings and the promotion inventory in the Ampd Live user interface. Third Screen Media said the mobile carriers young subscriber base provides an attractive option for advertisers looking to target the demographic.
Third Screen Media also will initially serve as the carriers primary advertising sales agent.
The official entrance of a 3G carrier into the mobile advertising ecosystem marks a significant milestone in mobile advertisings short, yet exciting history, said Tom Burgess, CEO, Third Screen Media. Ampd Mobiles announcement will help pave the way for carriers and content providers to meet the consumers demand for a richer mobile Web and video content experience.
Amp’d Mobile also will use Third Screen Media’s technology with Medio, which was recently announced as Amp’d Mobile’s search and search advertising partner.
MADX|Carrier technology is a mobile ad management and delivery platform, and third-party publisher inventory management and monitoring platform.
