Intelisys (Booth 111) announced the release of ResourceCRM 1.0, a proprietary, telecom-centric CRM service designed to give agents and end users a single, unified view of their critical telecom information.
Intelisys will demonstrate the ResourceCRM service for small groups of agents in the Venetian Hotel Bassano Boardroom 2606 on Sunday, March 4, at 2:30 p.m., and on Monday, March 5, at 5 p.m. Seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
According to Rick Sheldon, co-founder of Intelisys, ResourceCRM 1.0 is one of the first fruits of Intelisys merger with Resource Communications at the beginning of 2006. The ResourceCRM development team headed by Dana Topping, former owner of Resource Communications and now co-owner of Intelisys; Jay Bradley, president of Intelisys; and Justin Kelley, Intelisys lead software developer has created a unique product offering designed to enable telecom agents and their businesses to thrive in a world of constant change.
ResourceCRM 1.0 is a CRM offering specific to the telecom industry. Its Locations and Services Inventory provides a searchable database, which includes the precise information fields required for all telecom services. Its Orders module and its Contracts repository present similarly granular telecom-related structures. All modules supply integration with one another that eliminates the need to enter customer data more than once. Customized reporting and mass importing of customer data make ResourceCRM 1.0 an easy-to-use tool for managing a telecom agency business, as well as end-user telecom services, the company said.
Agents across the spectrum see that offering managed services to their telecom customers can lead to dramatic increases in revenue both from the fees charged for the managed services and in telecom product sales, said Rick Dellar, co-founder of Intelisys. ResourceCRM 1.0 is one of the resources Intelisys now makes available to support managed services initiatives among telecom agents. It will allow them and their customers to see what they have in real time.
Development of ResourceCRM 1.0 began shortly after the merger between Resource Communications and Intelisys at the beginning of 2006. A beta trial period spanned the summer months and a pre-release occurred at Inteligolf at the beginning of October. At the first of December, Intelisys released the service to its own contracted sales partners.
Topping sees the release of ResourceCRM 1.0 as a solid step forward in broadening the resources Intelisys makes available to its sales partners and to the general agent channel. ResourceCRM 1.0 is one building block in the grand vision that we have for Intelisys in the coming years.
Bradley said, Weve gotten great feedback from our Intelisys Sales Partners. They clearly see how this new service will empower their end users, as well as their own agency business processes.
