A+ Conferencing Touts Success With Flat-Rate Platform

A+ Conferencing (Booth 203) President Mike Burns announced that the growth of the companys flat-rate, unlimited usage platform is outpacing the traditional per-minute platform dramatically.

A+ Conferencing started the flat-rate model three years ago, but it took several months before it gained traction with the agent and reseller force. It also took several months for the prospect base to recognize the potential savings and advantages of having unlimited usage for one fixed price per month, the company said.

A+ Conferencing said it is seeing many vertical business markets, lawyers, associations, brokerage houses and multilevel marketing companies, adopt the flat-rate model more rapidly than others; and since the conversion from a per-minute plan, their usage has doubled and their bills have increased.

Many master agents and resellers of A+ Conferencing have focused on the flat-rate product, developed specific Web sites, and have built impressive bases of customers. Burns said that if agents are selling conferencing services in todays competitive environment, they must have a flat-rate brand. A+ Conferencing provides wholesale audio, Web and video conferencing solutions to master agents who sell the A+ brand, and resellers who sell their own private-labeled brand implemented through A+ facilities.
