OSS and billing services provider UDP (Booth 1110) has promoted Shirley J. Craig to the newly created position of vice president of client relations.
Craig has been with UDP for nine years and served in divisions overseeing end-user billing, message processing, customer service and more. Prior to joining UDP, Craig – who has worked in telecom for more than 30 years – worked for the Bell companies that ultimately became AT&T Inc., Qwest Communications International Inc. and Verizon Communications Inc.
Shirley is one of those rare people who has a comprehensive knowledge of the history of telecommunications, the technological changes in the industry and a true grasp of the regulatory issues and their ramifications, said Claud Gilmer, president of UDP. In this new position, Shirley can focus her time and attention on identifying and meeting the unique business needs and requirements of our larger customers.
In addition to her contributions at work, Craig has served as the co-chair for the ATIS/OBF Message Processing Committee and the Strategic Advisory Group.
