Westcon Group Inc.s Comstor division is distributing IPcelerate Inc.s VoIP business platforms through its VARs.
The companies made the announcement on Tuesday. Comstor sells Cisco Systems Inc. products as well as services that work with that vendors offerings.
The IPsession and IPstudio application platforms come with services including intelligent dial-out, call recording, and 911 alert integration. All of IPcelerate’s appliance and applications products work with Ciscos unified communications line.
“Our partnership with Westcon Group represents a growth opportunity for both companies,” said Kevin Brown, CEO of IPcelerate. “Comstor’s well-known expertise in IP technology, along with their extensive network of highly qualified VARs, is bound to open new markets for us. In turn, our pre-integrated suite of products will add value and increased revenues for their resellers with no custom development required.”
IPcelerates products work especially well with government, education, healthcare and retail vertical markets, which bodes well for VARs targeting those clientele, the companies said.
Comstor’s Advanced Technology team will support VARs selling to these customers and also provide technical support for and integration of IPcelerates technology.
