TelecomAssociation Changes Leadership

TelecomAssociation (TA) on Friday announced a new management team to support the associations vendor members and distributors. Long-time administrator Kathleen Brown has been promoted to executive director and Nancy Baldwin has been named president.

President and Founder Dan Baldwin said he is stepping down to work at a national telecommunications provider. His last day at TA will be Jan. 31.

“The association has matured nicely since being founded in 1995,” Dan Baldwin said. “TA has embarked on a long-term distributor recruitment campaign and Nancy and Kathleen are ideally suited to take the association into its next phase.”

The announcement comes as TA launches, an association Web site to help business end users find association members who can recommend telecom and technology providers based on the specific needs of the end-user company.

“TA members are pleased with their new benefits like voting in the ‘Members Choice Awards, and with the launch of, were providing our distributor members with another way to market their consulting services to end users, said Nancy Baldwin.
