Qwest Communications International Inc. said Wednesday it has expanded its Office Plus service, which provides managed hosting, high-speed Internet and e-mail features for SMBs.
The new Office Plus has additional hosting capabilities that allow SMBs to build their own Web sites, and includes e-commerce services like online purchasing and credit card processing. The service also provides more e-mail accounts and greater data storage capacity, remote access to e-mail and synchronization between Web mail and Microsoft Outlook.
Qwest Office Plus is available for sale by agents in the Qwest Business Partner Program. The expanded Office Plus services are available to new customers and will be made available to existing customers in 2007.
“The newly enhanced Qwest Office Plus offers small- and mid-sized businesses the ability to act and appear like a larger enterprise to their customers,” said Dan Yost, executive vice president for product and marketing at Qwest.
Office Plus customers can subscribe to Qwest Online Backup services, which provide automatic online backups of PC files and backup management, and restore data.
Security features, such as firewalls and anti-spyware, and 24-hour customer support are also available.
