Simple Signal Inc., a facilities-based VoIP provider that sells through wholesalers and agents, has unveiled its SIP trunking platform, SimpleSIP. The system lets any SIP-compatible IP PBX, PBX or TDM equipment communicate with the companys softswitch.
This reduces the number of T1 and PRI interfaces, which means VoIP calls can be processed with the same hardware as one T1 interface. SimpleSIP also allows connection to MPLS networks, with more than 2 million voice-enabled trunks and SIP gateway, according to the company.
SimpleSIP features include unlimited inbound trunking capacity; free on-net calling and conferencing calling; low outbound domestic and international long-distance rates; full E911 compatibility; guaranteed QoS; and it supports G.711 and G.729. It also includes unlimited local and incoming calls, LNP, voice mail, unified messaging and N-Way conference calling.
SimpleSIP is available throughout the United States and Canada starting at $25 per trunk per month.
Simple Signals network supports equipment from manufacturers including Alcatel, Avaya Inc., Cisco Systems Inc., Nortel Networks Corp., ShoreTEl Inc., Siemens and others.
