Westcon Helps Resellers Deliver Vendor-Integrated Platforms

Westcon Group Inc. has announced it is engaging its cross-divisional resources to help resellers succeed in delivering platforms that integrate two or more foundation vendors.

Each of the group’s divisions, Comstor, Voda One and Westcon, are increasingly leveraging one another’s knowledge base, including recently introduced programs such as ConvergencePoint, SecurityPoint and OneDefense. For example, Voda One, whose core foundation vendor is Avaya, plans to increase solutions provider opportunities requiring an advanced knowledge of Cisco infrastructure by leveraging the expertise of sister division Comstor. Voda One BusinessPartners can access Comstor’s Cisco-oriented technology expertise and product engineers, and therefore participate in multivendor opportunities that involve Avaya communication platforms.
