Internet media company and IP/VoIP services provider YFonGlobal announced on Tuesday it has launched a private-brand, grassroots social network services offering. Specifically targeting alternative, online and buzz marketing companies, YFonGlobal’s new services, marketed as YFonGlobal PromoNet, enables a buzz marketing firm to rapidly deploy, manage and monitor experiential, viral and grassroots online marketing programs.
YFonGlobal’s PromoNet enables rich, interactive communications for effective reach-out to participants of projects, campaigns and advocacies, and provides for management, as well as effective word-of-mouth communications, via an online interface. YFonGlobals PromoNet provides a feature-rich collaborative online platform so that street teams, or chat-room “cyber-reps” can share messages, coordinate activities, and manage grassroots or organic marketing campaigns. PromoNet offers shared calendar, workspace, message board, photo, video and document posting, as well as IM and VoIP calling. Group activities within PromoNet aid in motivating, instructing and profiling program participants, based on insight from group dynamics.
At release, YFonGlobal’s private brand offering has existing partner contracts, which total more than $4 million in annualized revenue and will be announced in the near future by clients in the online promotional services areas. One upcoming project that will use PromoNet includes a presidential campaign which will be using PromoNet to aid in grassroots programming and management.
