Wholesale Carrier Services Inc. (Booths 714-716), an Inc. 500 Company and home to the private-label Virtual Telco Channel Partner program, announced the pre-launch of its new quoting, contracting and provisioning tool called PartnerNet. The PartnerNet platform has been in development for more than a year to meet the growing demands of WCS channel partner customer base. With four modules, TeleQuote, Contract Manager, OrderView and Revenue Manager, PartnerNet provides Web-based, licensed access to WCS80 carriers and 130 services via one consolidated contract and billing platform.
WCS has been building this system by listening to our channel partners and tailoring the software development to meet their needs, said Chris Barton, WCS president and CEO. Imagine a Web portal where local, long-distance, DIA, MPLS/IP-VPN and enterprise wireless products can be qualified, real-time quoted, contracted and the orders monitored entirely online. Channel partners set the price to their customers and control the profit margin on a sale-bysale basis.
We are investing more than $1 million into this platform to automate the entire process on one system including API/Web services integration to each carrier, [as well as] customized private-label Web site branding and contracting.
WCS also explained that the hierarchal design of PartnerNet provides advanced reporting views to all system users and offers full visibility into the quoting volumes, milestone-driven work order status and revenue/margin data.
