Show sponsor PAETEC Communications Inc. (Booth 101) announced its 2007 partner sales contest. Winners will enjoy an allexpenses paid trip for two to the El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico next summer as well as a free custom lead-generation program.
To qualify for the contest, PAETEC partners must meet certain sales thresholds for their tier between Aug. 1, 2006, and March 31, 2007. Of those that qualify, only the top performers based on percentage over goal in each tier will win. Minimum monthly revenue starts at $15,000 for Level 1 agents and goes up $5,000 for each incremental Levels 2 through 4.
This years contest is the fourth using this formula, said Chris Bantoft, president of alternate channels at PAETEC. In 2006, winners visited Scottsdale, Ariz., for four days of socializing and organized events, like receptions, dinners and local entertainment, such as river rafting and an Arizona Diamondbacks game.
In 2006, PAETEC added an additional perk to the prize with the creation of an e-mail and telemarketing leadgeneration campaign for each winner. This will continue in 2007. Nick Patey, PAETECs channel marketing manager, said the marketing component reflects the companys changing approach to its channel. Weve gone from just offering our products to agents to making independent business people successful, he said.
