British operator BT contracted ECI Telecom to provide its business customers with dedicated digital private circuits.
The companies said the deal is worth more than $75 million.
ECI will be supplying BT with its Exline 2 systems; they transport 2mbps links symmetrically over copper, offering enhanced capabilities and integration within existing networks. Exline 2 also supports advanced features including caller ID, call waiting and distinctive rings.
BT has more than 150,000 business users.
