MetaSolv Software Inc., a developer of OSS platforms for service providers, said at TeleManagement World that Telenet has deployed its convergent service activation platform for digital TV services.
Telenet is the largest provider of broadband cable services in Belgium. It claims more than 1.8 million subscribers who use its cable television, high-speed Internet and telephony services.
Those offerings require a converged cross-domain activation platform, MetaSolv said.
We are pleased to have been selected to automate activation for Telenets new digital TV services, as part of its triple-play offering, enabling rapid time to market and reduced operating costs, said David Sharpley, MetaSolvs executive vice president of marketing and product management.
