InfoVista Announces Add-On for VistaInsight

Software maker InfoVista on Tuesday announced an add-on to VistaInsight for IP Telephony 2.0, the companys platform that enables advanced call quality management for enterprises and managed service providers.

The add-on uses algorithms to assess voice quality in VoIP deployments.

InfoVista said the new capabilities measure voice quality between two endpoints, identifying which factors contribute to degradation and enabling troubleshooting.

Organizations that leverage our existing solution for IP telephony can now achieve end-to-end proactive management of voice applications, allowing them to anticipate and prevent quality degradations, and achieve a superlative end-user experience, said Bruno Zerbib, director of product management, network solutions, for InfoVista.
