Start-up company MindTouch Inc. announced on Monday it is recruiting authorized reseller partners to distribute and support its MindTouch Managed Office Server.
The turnkey server allows users to edit or add new pages, and even attach documents, to intranet content, without the need for special software or a Web master. The server provides automatic versioning that shows who made changes, and when, and also preserves old versions for reference.
MindTouch is selling the server exclusively through resellers. Partners will receive upfront revenue for the initial hardware and installation, and through continuous shared revenue from the managed service contract. For example, if a reseller deploys 50 servers, the profit can range between $75,000 and $150,000 per year, depending on the configuration, according to MindTouch.
The program also provides partners with sales and marketing tools through an online portal, lead generation programs, in-person training sessions, online product and service demonstrations, and conference calls.
