Wireless mesh maker BelAir Networks this week introduced two new products at CTIA Wireless, as well as a new warranty program.
First, the company has developed the BelAir300 multiservice wireless mesh network for mobile operators. The product integrates a GSM base station and optional T1/E1 Circuit Emulation Module with BelAirs wireless mesh in one form factor.
With six slots supporting any combination of base station, backhaul and Wi-Fi radios, the BelAir300 minimizes pole space and is built to deliver legacy TDM and broadband 2G and Wi-Fi services. The IP architecture also can support UMTS and W-CDMA.
BelAir Networks also has added the BelAir100C Wireless Multi-Service Node to its line of wireless nodes. The latest one is a mid-capacity, dual-radio access device that features a shared mesh backhaul.
The company further has expanded its warranty program to include a three-year limited warranty on all hardware, system software and BelAir BelView Network Management System software. The new offer covers new installations and applies retroactively to BelAir wireless mesh nodes already installed.
