TELUS, a Canadian service provider, has deployed Convedia Corp.s media servers in its IP-One Innovation service, Convedia said today at VON.
IP-One Innovation is an IP telephony product for businesses. Convedias servers process IP media for services including IP Centrex and VoIP teleconferencing.
Supporting carrier-class VoIP services requires a cost-efficient, scalable, and reliable IP media processing infrastructure that can be shared and reused across a multi-vendor IP application server environment, said Stephen Young, director of IP applications development for TELUS.
