Channel Partners keynote sponsor Voilà IP Communications (Booth 115) has made several additions to its company, in terms of people, programs and products.
First, the VoIP provider has hired two agent sales directors George Longyear and Mark Stritmatter who will manage Voilà IPs top-performing agent partners and wholesale service providers as the company increases its national footprint to more than 60 facilities-based markets.
They will report to Scot Oslund, vice president, wholesale and agent sales. Longyear and Stritmatter have 23 years combined experience in telecom.
The addition of George and Mark further demonstrates Voilà IPs ability to recruit top-performing executives and further enhances Voilà IPs commitment to our partners in the field, said Jeff Uphues, executive vice president, sales and marketing.
Oslund said Longyear and Stritmatter will help partners prepare proposals, work on business development, and offer customer service and technical support and training.
Alongside the agent program, Voilà IP today also announced the launch of its wholesale services program, which lets organizations private-label Voilà IPs products.
Having the systems, infrastructure and network in place, Voilà IP is in a distinctive position to provide wholesale-type services to organizations that do not have the resources or desire to do it themselves, Uphues explained. Voilà can be the engine of their success.
The wholesale program targets partners who want to define their own brands and take on more responsibility for their customers.
Finally, the VoIP provider also said today it has added 11 enhanced services to its Voilà Office IP and Voilà Access IP product lines. The new services include file sharing; PC data backup; shared calendar and contacts for Microsoft Corp. Outlook users; desktop fax; secure instant messaging; Web mail; Web hosting from Voilà IP; antivirus and spam blocker; audio and video conferencing; managed VPN; and hold music for a companys phone system.
The aforementioned applications all can be managed through a companys Voilà IP Web portal.
