TNCI Deploys Carrier ID Code

Channel Partners show sponsor TNCI (Booth 515) has deployed its own Carrier Identification Code (CIC) to manage traffic seamlessly to ensure agents and customers of the most competitive rates in all equal access areas across the country. A CIC is the designation used by local phone companies to route traffic to the customers preferred long-distance carrier.

Our industry position and financial strength have enabled TNCI to make this move to simplify the sales and provisioning process for all. It will eliminate the confusion that often surrounds carrier selection, as TNCI agents and customers will simply be able to select TNCI as their switched LD provider of choice, said Brian Twomey, TNCI president. Its a fitting way to mark the beginning of our 15th year as a leader in the telecommunications arena.

TNCI is also in the midst of increasing its local service availability from 30 RBOC areas to a total of 42 states. And TNCI has introduced a special new business bonus of up to $150 per local line.

Meanwhile, the TNCI MPLS product solution continues to build momentum. Quoted more frequently than any other product in the last quarter of 2005, MPLS from TNCI is the fastest growing product in the TNCI portfolio.

Finally, TNCI continues to enhance the capabilities of its agent portal, customer portal and public Web site.

The Workflow program on the agent portal, announced in September, is continuing to provide access to critical information and opportunities for TNCI agents to see significant improvements in efficiency and productivity.
