Qwest Communications International Inc. announced a new agent program today within its wholesale channel, designed to support partners interested in reselling Qwest’s wholesale services to qualified carrier customers.
The wholesale agent program was developed strictly to uncover “new-to-Qwest” business opportunities. Qwest’s target wholesale customer segments include telecom carriers, resellers and other service providers.
Historically, Qwest has worked primarily with sales partners that focus on retail business customers. Because we are fully committed to the wholesale marketplace, it made sense for us to create a program to support important wholesale business opportunities via partners as well,” said Derek Koecher, director of the wholesale markets group for Qwest. “We’ve added the wholesale agent program to ensure that we could take advantage of every important customer that came our way retail or wholesale.”
