Service provider Telegration Inc. (Booth 702) has rolled out several support tools for its Alliance Partners and said it is working to help its agents benefits from the merger of SBC Communications Inc. and AT&T Corp., which created the new AT&T Inc.
Thanks to the merger, Telegration said it will be able to increase compensation for data and PRI services; eliminate most of the SBC House Account List, resulting in increased compensation opportunities up-market; allow agents to sell AT&T services in all 13 SBC states and nationwide AT&T services; and provide training certification.
Telegration said the SBC/AT&T merger also will mean more sales opportunities as AT&T Inc. adds services to its existing local, usage, data, Internet and long-distance offerings.
The provider also said its Alliance Partners will benefit from selling the companys private-label long-distance services through its specialized pricing account request (SPAR) process, which it claimed compensates more than other long-distance carriers.
Over the past few months, Telegration has added functions that allow customers to order services from all of the nationwide LECs, including Verizon Communications Inc., BellSouth Corp. and Sprint Nextel. Telegration partners also now can sell Sprint PCS services.
The company further has updated its Web site so partners can obtain quotes, request sales engineering support, use lookup tools and take part in the referral partner program, a setup whereby Telegration sends referral spiffs to subagents and networking contacts for providing master agencies with leads.
