Adigo (Booth 527) announced it has signed master agency Global Communications 2000 to sell its audio and Web conferencing services.
Global Communications 2000, a 7-year-old master agency based in San Clemente, Calif., provides network services to consumers and businesses nationwide, but primarily in California.
According to Jeff Fraser, vice president of sales and agent support, the company has about 15 subagents and represents about 10 carriers directly, and others through relationships with other master agencies. It also provides equipment and installation through subagent partners, he said.
Adigo is the first and only conferencing provider Global Communications 2000 has agreed to represent, said Fraser. The companies have been working together since December 2005, and the products were rolled out to the master agents subs in first quarter.
Global Communications 2000 is well-known and well-respected and we are happy to have them as a partner, said John Carmona, director of business development for Adigo. They see the value in adding conferencing.
Adigo rolled out its agent program in early 2005 and counts about 50 masters and independents in its channel. Carmona says the company is seeking relationships with an additional five-to-10 master agencies and hopes to grow its total agent base by one-third to one-half in 2006.
Developing a strong channel will be a primary focus for the company for the next two-to-three years, he said.
Established in 1999, Adigo offers proprietary on-demand teleconferencing, professionally managed online events and seminars and turnkey conferencing integration.
